Roslyn L. Tessen

Age 87, of Manawa, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at her residence. She was born on March 27, 1928 in the Town of Little Wolf, daughter of the late Otto and Emma (Pelzer) Handrich. She married Herman Tessen and he preceded her in death in 1979. Roslyn was a longtime member of the Manawa United Methodist Church. She enjoyed going for walks and puttering in her flower garden. She always looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters: Judy (Robert) Miller, JoAnne (Joe) Mollica; grandchildren: Chris (Mary) Dailey, Jodi Dailey, Clay (Stacy) Dailey, Rhonda (Donald) Miller, Angie (Will) Anthony and Shalon Pelzer; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister Mabel Chich. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Viola, Elmer and Gordon; a son Jerry; also great-grandchildren Shay and William Jr. The funeral service for Roslyn will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Manawa United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Rice and Chaplain Jim Frank officiating. Burial will be in Little Wolf Cemetery in the Town of Little Wolf. A visitation for Roslyn will be held directly at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
