Robert Korotka

Age 87, of Manawa, Bob went to his heavenly home on Monday, July 31, 2017 at his residence. He was born on May 10, 1930, in Milwaukee, son of the late Max and Catherine (Harmeyer) Korotka. On November 11, 1950, he was united in marriage to Arlene “Pat” Schultz in Milwaukee. Bob proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a machinist with George J. Meyer in Cudahy for 35 years. Bob loved to golf, hunt, fish, and he also enjoyed photography.

He is survived by his wife Arlene “Pat” Korotka; children: Dan (Deborah) Korotka, Debra (Terry) Hoffman, Linda (Dennis) Haefner; grandchildren: Erik (Sarah) Hoffman, Jennifer (Rodney) Marquette, Julie Washington, Karyn Ager, Thomas (Kristina) Korotka, Mindy Korotka, Sara Korotka, Rebecca (Jonathan) Zamora and Andrew Haefner; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings: Don (Barbara) Korotka and Barbara (Rick) Korene. He is further survived by a sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Michael.

A graveside service with Full Military Honors will be held for Bob on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pavilion in the Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery in King with Fr. Xavier Santiago officiating.
