Mark Lee Ritchie

Mark Lee Ritchie, age 63, of Manawa, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 10, 2021.
Mark was born on July 3, 1957 to LeRoy and Darla (Schmidt ) Ritchie in New London. He
graduated from New London High School in 1976. Mark was united in marriage to Marilyn
Brown on June 1, 1984. He was previously employed by Hillshire Farm, Sand Country Tire,
Saputo, and then retired from Suehs Motors in Manawa. Mark loved working in his garden,
shooting darts, ice fishing, and walleye jigging. He also enjoyed spending time with his family
and grandchildren. He loved his dogs.
Mark is survived by his wife, Marilyn; 5 sons: Chad Ritchie, Ben (Dana) Ritchie, Kevin (Jamie)
Ritchie, Brian (Sadie) Ritchie and Chris (Becky) Ritchie; 11 grandchildren: Eva Jean, Addisen,
Kennedy, Wyatt, Austin, Brooklyn, Blake, Allison, Rylee, Landon, and Angel; his mother,
Darla; siblings: Dale Ritchie, Patti (Larry) Jensen; brothers-in-law: Randy, Phil, and Donny
Brown. Mark is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Ritchie; brother Tom; brothers-in-law:
Michael and Steve Brown.
Private family services will be held for Mark but a public Celebration of Life will be held on
Thursday, April 15, 2021, from 3:30-6 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Life Celebration
Center of Manawa. The celebration will continue at Cedar Springs Golf Course following the
gathering time at the Celebration Center.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mark’s mother Darla Ritchie.
