Luella Mae Boese

October 20, 1936 — May 25, 2013

Age 76, of Clintonville, formerly of Manawa, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. She was born on October 20, 1936, in Green Lake County, daughter of the late Glenn and Lenore (Voeltner) Wuske. On August 2, 1958, she was united in marriage to Warren F. Boese at the Methodist Church in Berlin. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2007. Luella and Warren first lived in Berlin, and then they moved their family to Webster where they owned and operated the Webster Motel for three years. They then moved to Manawa in 1978. Luella was employed at Hillshire Farm in New London for twenty- two years, retiring on November 1, 2001. She made her home in Clintonville since 2000. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Manawa where she served as a Sunday School teacher, the Acolyte Coordinator and in the Mary Circle. She was also a member of the choir and many committees throughout the years. Luella enjoyed spending time with her family, doing word search puzzles, reading, going out to eat, and years ago she loved to go fishing. She is survived by her children: Karen Boese and Keith Boese, both of New London; a sister: Glenda Lesniak, Berlin; sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law: Mary Wuske, Berlin; Mary Jane Zimar, Oshkosh; Dan (Mable) Boese, Green Lake. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers: William, Robert and Myrle. The funeral service for Luella will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Manawa United Methodist Church with Rev. Dale Eggert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin. A visitation for Luella will be held directly at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Luella Mae Boese
