Joshua Michael Wieters

January 28, 1984 — August 26, 2021

Joshua Michael Wieters, passed into eternal life at the age of 37, at his home on August 26, 2021. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend. Josh was a talented business owner, gamer, and great conversationalist.

He was born in Waupaca, to Michael P. Wieters, and Sheri K. (Besch) Wieters of Weyauwega on January 28, 1984. He graduated from Weyauwega-Fremont High School with the class of 2002. He then graduated from Evangel University in Springfield, MO with degrees in criminal justice and psychology. You could find Josh playing with his dog, leading a raid in his favorite games, talking with friends, fishing on the Chain of Lakes, traveling, hunting, or buying the perfect Christmas gift.

He touched the lives of many with his big bear hugs, memorable beard, deep conversations, and caring nature. He leaves behind his parents, Mike and Sheri Wieters; siblings: Rebecca (Wieters) Monfre and Tristen Wieters; nephew Evan Monfre; niece Hailey Monfre; grandmother Bernice Besch; many uncles, aunts, and cousins, as well as his dog Hunter.

He is preceded in death by several loved ones: his paternal grandparents Clarence and Mary ‘Johanna’ Wieters; his maternal grandfather, Robert H. Besch; aunts Dawn Wieters and Doree Ramun; uncle Charles Wieters; and cousin Michael R. Ramun.

Family services will be held for Josh but a public Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 12:30pm to 3:30 pm at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Life Celebration Center of Weyauwega.
