Germaine M. Schoenhofen

Germaine Marceline Schoenhofen, age 89 of Waupaca, passed away on April 3, 2022 at her residence. She was born the youngest of her many siblings on December 7, 1932 in Portage County to the late Joseph and Mary (Szymanski) Kranski. Germaine graduated from PJ Jacobs High School in Stevens Point. She later went on to University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and earned her Bachelor’s Degree. She was an elementary school teacher for a number of years and then a realtor for H.J. Jennerjohn for many years. She then worked at the Beacon House in New London for over 15 years. She loved playing cards with her many friends. She was a member of Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church and their Catholic Women.

Germaine is survived by her sons: Joel and Dean Schoenhofen; grandson: Taten Grimm. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and other relatives.

The Funeral Mass for Germaine will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega at 11:00 am, with Fr. Matthew Rappl officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be be held at the church from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
