Esther “Alice” Thomack, 85, Manawa passed away at Bethany Home, Waupaca on Sunday, April 3, 2016, with family at her side. She was born February 27, 1931, in Danville, IL, daughter of William and Esther (Sutheimer) Paris.

Alice married Everett (Toby) Thomack on September 22, 1951. He preceded her in death on January 29, 2005. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, crocheting, fishing, road trips during deer hunting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Alice is survived by her children: Howard “Mike” (Sandy) Thomack and their children Billie Jo (Rob) Rosenau, Manawa and Michael (Faith) Thomack, Greenview, IL; Andy (Sara) Thomack and their children Toby (Joanna) Thomack, Oostburg, Tyler (Amanda) Thomack, Hortonville, and Travis (Tanya) Thomack, Stevens Point; Dennis (Bonnie) Thomack, Bangkok, Thailand and his daughter Shelly Thomack, Bloomington, MN; and Linda (Bruce) Phillips, Sacramento, CA, and their children Ashley (Andrew) Ayon, Sacramento, CA, and Nathan Allen, Sacramento, CA.

She is further survived by 13 great-grandchildren: Kylie and Morgan Rosenau, Hailey and Wyatt Thomack, Everett, Samuel and Eleanor Thomack, Jack Thomack, Talitha and Hadassah Thomack, Rayden and Maeleigh Ayon, and Cheyann Allen. A sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by her three brothers, Lloyd, Bill and Walter Paris.

The funeral services for Alice will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home, Manawa with Pastor Jeffrey Smiles officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Little Wolf Cemetery, Town of Little Wolf.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Bethany Home for all their tender care over the past years.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials are made to Bethany Home, Waupaca.
