Dennis Rasmussen

Dennis Rasmussen, age 62, passed unexpectedly in his Weyauwega home Saturday morning, August 17, 2019. He was born to Eugene and Audrey (Bacon) Rasmussen June 19, 1957. He enjoyed gardening, bird watching, nature walks, mowing the lawn, spending time with his dogs Stoutheart and Agador and his granddaughter Madisyn. He also had a love for food and often talked about his mother’s cakes and pies and often enjoyed a Miller Lite now and then. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

Over the years Dennis had many jobs but most enjoyed escorting oversize loads across the country. He also enjoyed building. He built the family home and was always making changes. The house will be his greatest legacy! Most recently he was helping his daughter with her business of building furniture and planning growth for the future.

Dennis is survived by his daughter, Amanda Rasmussen; granddaughter, Madisyn; his sister, Judy (Byron) Schroeder; his ex-wife, Kimberly Kruse, and many family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held, Saturday, September 7th from 1-3 p.m. at the house (N2001 Anklam Rd, Weyauwega)
