Billye G. Bobo

Billye Gardell Bobo passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 in Silver Lake, Wisconsin. Bill was born February 16, 1930 in La Crosse, Wisconsin, the seventh child born to Henry and Marie Bobo. He graduated from West Division high school in 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1978 he married Connie Winters of Grayslake, Illinois and they had over 30 happy years together, making their home in Manawa, Wisconsin.

He is survived by his children, Roland (Kathy) Bobo of Iron Mountain, Michigan; Alan (Sue) Bobo of Silver Lake, Wisconsin; Patricia Ducat of Pembine, Wisconsin; Linda (Dale) Blanshan of Rochester, Minnesota; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Evelyn Richert of Reedsburg, Wisconsin and Betty (Bill) Simpson of West Division High, Wisconsin.

He is preceded in death by his former wives Clara and Lois, his beloved wife, Connie Bobo; his parents, Henry and Marie Bobo; and six siblings, Ethel Dykeman, Merwin Bobo, Veryl Bobo, Amil Bobo, Virginia Lewis, and Wayne Bobo.

Funeral services for Bill will be held at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa on Monday, August 21 at 12:00 p.m. A visitation for Bill will be held Monday at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Manawa, Wisconsin.
