Susan Elizabeth Toohey

Age 73, of Weyauwega, died on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. She was born on October 9, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Olsen) Toohey. Susan lived in the Chicago area until moving to Weyauwega in 1985. She worked over 30 years as a Purchasing Administrator for the Quaker Oats Company in Chicago, Illinois. She was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul catholic Church in Weyauwega. She is survived by a sister-in-law Mary Toohey, Wheaton, IL; 2 nieces: Catherine (Peter) Economos, Wheaton, Il; Elizabeth (Greg) Kane, Oak Park, IL; 2 nephews: Michael (Cheryl) Toohey, Woodbridge, IL; Christopher (Amie) Toohey, Blythwood, SC; 11 grand nieces and nephews and a special friend Helen Tullie. Her parents and a brother Roger preceded her in death. The funeral service for Susan will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel at Bethany Home in Waupaca (1226 Berlin St.). A visitation for Susan will be held at the chapel on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
