Marie A. Gunderson

Marie A. Gunderson, age 88, passed away peacefully in the loving presence of her family on May 18th at Anew Choice Care of Menasha. She was born on November 23, 1928 to Melvin and Pearl Ravey.

Marie enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, and sewing. At Anew Choice Care, Marie enjoyed putting together puzzles and bird watching. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and sister.

Marie leaves behind 7 children: Kay (Larry) Rekoske, Daisy Gunderson, Helen (Ralph) Nabbefeld all of Appleton, Merle Gunderson of Clintonville, David Gunderson of Manawa, Jack (Donna) Gunderson of Ogdensburg, Edna (Jerry) Van Eyck of Weyauwega, Marie has been blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren (too many to list). Marie is further survived by one sister, Myrtle Krings (Norbert) of Hawkins. Preceding Marie in death was her sister Fern Buskirk, and her daughter Mary Gunderson.

It was the request of Marie to have no service or visitation. In lieu of any gifts of money please donate to your favorite Alzheimer’s organization.

The family would like to thank the staff at Anew Choice Care of Menasha and ThedaCare Hospice for the loving care given to Marie and her family.
