Louis Albert Janke

Age 96, of Manawa, died on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Wisconsin Veteran's Home in King. He was born on May 20, 1911 in the Town of Royalton, Waupaca County, son of the late William & Mathilda (Krueger) Janke. Louis was a lifelong resident in the Town of Royalton. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Manawa DAV, and also was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Manawa. He is survived by his cousins: Jack (Donna) Krueger and family, Town of Royalton; Allen (Effie) Krueger, Town of Dayton; Lelia (Irvin) Lipke, West Allis; Gladys Petersen, Waupaca; and Lee Kolosso, Green Bay. The funeral service for Louis will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
