Connie Bobo

Age 79, of Manawa, WI passed away Sunday March 29, 2009 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born March 8, 1930 in McHenry, IL, daughter of the late Raymond and Kathryn (Knox) Conway. She graduated from High School in McHenry, IL and attended Rosary College. She married Gerald Winters in 1950. In 1978 she married Billye Bobo in Waukegan, IL. They moved to Manawa in 1979. Connie was front desk receptionist at Bethany Home in Waupaca for 23 years retiring in 2003. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa. She is survived by her beloved husband: Bill; five children: Jerri Winters Ryan (Tim), Wadsworth, IL; Terri Winters Borst (Rich), Mundelein, IL; Griff Winters, Grays Lake, IL; Glenn Winters, Grays Lake, IL; Guy Winters (Pam), Grays Lake, IL; step-children: Alan (Sue) Bobo, Silver Lake, WI; Roland (Kathy) Bobo, Iron Mt., MI; Patricia ( Mike) Ducat, DePere, WI; Linda (Dale) Blanshan, Rochester, MN; seven grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister. A Prayer Service for Connie will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 9, 2009 at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa led by Rev. Bertin Samsa OFM Cap. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Manawa. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday April 9, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
