Life Legacy


Age 17, Greenville, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, as the result of an automobile accident. Kylee was born on October 25, 1992 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, daughter of Erik and Amy (Waldorf) Hyde. She was a junior at Hortonville High School and was very active in sports, participating in volleyball, basketball and track. Her family was very proud of her academic standing and was student of the month numerous times. She lived life to the fullest and had a great sense of humor, always making others laugh. She loved her family and friends and was a role model to her siblings. Kylee will forever be an angel in their hearts.

She is survived by her parents, Erik and Amy, her younger siblings, Tyler, Alexis, and Cole; maternal grandparents, Tom (Nan) Waldorf, Clinton, Iowa; great maternal grandmother, Betty Krick, Clinton, Iowa; paternal grandparents, Lauren (Judy) Hyde, Clinton, Iowa. A maternal great-great aunt, Hazel Burgurt; a paternal great aunt, Leah Hyde; aunts and uncles: John (Sherri) Allen, Earl (Deb) Krogman, Terry Hyde, Juan (Angie) Torres, Coley Hyde, Mike (Lisa) Seidell, Brenda (Yale) Christensen, Dave (Cheryl) Niemeyer. Kylee is further survived by her special friend, Garrett, numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal great-grandparents.

Funeral Mass for Kylee will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of Immaculate Conception Church, Greenville. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010 from 4-7 p.m. at St. Mary’s; a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Also at the church on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Kylees name.

We will love & miss you forever Ky-Ky. Mom, Dad, Tyler, Lexie, and Cole.
