Grace Amelia Fielding

Biography

Age 89, Shiocton, passed away on Tuesday, February 02, 2010. Grace was born on August 27, 1920 in Waupaca, daughter of the late Herman and Leda (Behnke) Hertzfeldt. On September 5, 1940, she was united in marriage to Charles Fielding in Dale. He preceded her in death in 1996. Grace worked at the Lee Vandree Store in New London for 40 years. She drove school bus for the Shiocton School District from 1967 to 1990.

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Dennis) Steinbach, Shiocton; two sons, Harold, New London; and Gene (Janice), Shiocton; a brother, LaVerne Hertzfeldt, Dale; and a sister Marcella (Edgar) Bartelt, Appleton. She is further survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, Ramona, a daughter-in-law Yvonne, and a granddaughter, Gina.

Funeral services for Grace will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Denis Catholic Church, Shiocton. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
